Welcome to the Guitar Name API. The Guitar Name API will Increase Your Google Rankings and Visitor Experience. Our API lets you add guitar voicings and chord names to your Website. Each string's pattern is represented by a comma. Strings not fingered down are designated by a special symbol, X. For string voicings, the strings' finger numbers should appear more than once. The highest and lowest strings are marked with a hyphen. The URL of the song should be unique and must be read-only.

You can include pictures for guitar voicings on your Website. The pictures should be JPEG files, and must be encoded in base64. The picture is not necessarily the chord name; an empty string will result in the default thumbnail featuring the Uberchord logo. The main component of a song is the voicings. This is an array of guitar chords.

The first method of our API involves defining the chord name. For example, if you're adding a tab to a song, you can include a picture of the chord you're using. The picture must be a JPEG, and should be encoded in base64. Otherwise, an empty string will generate the default thumbnail of the Uberchord logo. The second method, called "chord-name", returns the voicings. Each song consists of three or more guitar chords. The voicings is the main component of each song.. The Guitar Name API is provided as a single row in JSON format. Currently there is a soft limit for subscribers of 5000 requests per month. The monthly cost of using the Guitar Name API is Only $9.99 (Limited time at this low price). About the cost of a Big Mac. But tastes better ;)
